In the early morning, we went to 孔庙...

this is the entrance of the confucious temple...

Before entering the temple, it's said that for those who riding horse, no matter what status is, they must take off from the horse first at the place as below picture show to show respect...

these kind of free standing structures represent different ceremony...

Pagoda???

And, we could see the treatment to SAVE the tree also...

Along with the wish by people....^^

This is the entrance that connect to the primary school...

this is the 忠义国小武德殿
it is built by japanase and the purpose is to affect the mind of taiwan people so that they will respect and admre japan... and of course, be loyal to them!!!

And, this is a part of the school which become an open space that let the outsiders to use the field for exercise as welll...

Next, we went to the restoration site of 爱国妇人馆...

at here, there were an engineer vit an architects that explained to us about the restoration process... and, of course, the importance of it...

At this moment, i suddenly thought of PUDU JAIL!!! Even this building they also try to restore but pudu jail already exist for so long and become one part of our lives already... It's really a sadness to tear down the heritage building and destroy our own identity...

before they restored the building, they will try to investigate the materials and construction used in the building first and not just rebuild a new thing that resemble the old building... they even tried to identify the existing columns and try to restore back to the original look...

they tried to destroy a bit of the wall surface to identify the coating of the wall...

If i'm not mistaken, they try to resemble the texture of this column because they cant find tis type of wood that suit the size of the original column...

This part of wall is exposed to let the visitiors to know the materials of the wall so that they will have a clearer mind...

On our way, we passed through this fire station building... It will be restored in future time as well...

This is the 台湾文学馆... It has been restored before and reopen as an visitors' landmark...

From this picture, we can see that the building has been extended as the original size is not big enough...

From this pictue itself, you can see that the interior part of it should used to be the exterior part of the building, with the gutter systemas well...

The gallery inside...

an individual booth...

Then, we went to the 气象台...

This building also be estored before by the CYCU lecturer o... lol
Interior of it... This is the place to display the research about the restoration of this building...

This is the bank that we saw on our way... It is built by the japanses as well...
Though it is full of western style and with big scale, it still has some chinese style of detailing...

Later, after eating 'ice kacang', we went back by 快铁, which was much more faster than the time when we came to tainan...
And, one thing very special is that, the chairs inside the train can be rotated to suit the needs of the train of coming n going back from 2 different directions...
During nite time, we help the students to do their submission for presentation on the next day until 11pm...It's quite fun as seniors and juniors work together and helping each other when facing any problems... And, i think this is a good thing as the seniors will be trained to managed a team and the juniors can also learn things and amass knowledge from their seniors as well...
