Today destination is 淡水...
The first thing that i hate when i woke up is that- it was raining!!!!! The wind was so strong and a bit chilling...
However, we still went to dan shui... The train station at here had strong sense of chinese culture... and it faces the river...
Well, using umbrella, we walk to 真理大学 and 淡江高中。。。
Before that, we reached the university museum first... it is called mackay's memorial museum...
The brick used is slightly smaller than Malaysia one... And, the symmetry form is very obviuos... of course, they include the chinese element like the pagoda shaped on the roof ridge...
The garden in front...
In front of oxford college
The guard house
On the way to 淡江高中
淡江高中
My first look at this school is that it seems quite familiar with me...
And, this is actually one of the jay chou's 不能说的秘密的场景... lol
This building is built by japanese that studied architecture in london... that's why it has a strong sense of western style but combined with the idea of chinese culture in doing building...
I heard that this school used the theory of 三合院, in which the main building facing us, with two wings (arms) besideof it... and with the theory of 男左女右,前敬后辈。。。
Almost all of the finishes of this building is using bricks finishes, which is seldom used in today's time as this is quite expensive... Also, as i can see, many buildings seldom use paint as wall finishes because tiles finishes do need much maintainance and painting industry at here is not that popular...
hmm... but for me, I think this finishes is too dull for me and not that interesting to be seen... so i do prefer paint coating more... haha
Mr.. Teoh was explaining this building...
After that, we went back to train station...
With his family, Mr.Teoh planned to go back... but we continue our journey...
Accompanied by few taiwan friends... here we are... the 故宫博物馆!!
This place is really very nice... because it looks like a chinese castle... lol...
When we already prepared our student ID, it was about to close!!! so sad.... haiz
but we still manage tosnap some pictures...
